Form 3468 - Investment Credit

The purpose of Form 3468 - Investment Credit is to claim the investment credit, which consists of various credits such as the rehabilitation credit for substantial rehabbing of older real estate and certified historic buildings, business energy credit for energy improvements made to depreciable property used for business, and qualifying advanced coal project credit and qualifying gasification project credit for certified projects. The form is used to figure out the investment credit, which is part of the general business credit.
