Problem: The State of Minnesota Department of Taxation, Revenue is asking you to make a correction on your MN Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on State Taxes in the upper left and review the IRS message on the right.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
Click on State Taxes on the left and on the right side the small blue link: I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form, then select the state in question and edit the form.
On form M1NR line 4A the capital gain/loss amount must match that of the federal schedule.
Please make this change and re-efile your return again at no additional charge.
