Problem: According to the State of Illinois, your tax return needs a correction. Find the following message about the correction also on the right side of your page after you have signed into your account. The Primary Taxpayer Drivers License number or State ID number did not match the Drivers License or State ID number.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left. Then review the Tax Return Status message on the right and follow these instructions. If it's not clear, try to re-efile at not charge or contact us immediately.
When you refile your IL return, enter your IL drivers license or IL identification information exactly as it is on the identification card, including your weight and middle initial. Any difference will cause your return to be rejected again.
