Problem: The IRS—not eFile.com—has rejected your return and you are required to make a correction.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left and review the IRS message on the right.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Your Tax Refund amount is exceeding the limit for the pay your fee via your tax refund payment solution e-Collect. When you check out, select Credit Card as your payment method only, or check your return for accuracy. When you re-efile there is no additional charge besides the regular tax preparation fee if your return is not free.
Create your IRS account later so you can monitor your returns there. Also make sure you download your returns from your eFile.com My Account.
