Problem: The California Franchise Tax Board is asking you to make a correction and on your CA Tax Return.
Solution: Please sign in to your eFile.com account now and click on My Return in the upper left.
1. Sign in: https://mytaxes.efile.com/1040/SignIn/
2. Click on My Return on the upper left and check the message on the right side.
On the left click on Names & Address and then the link on the right side:
Check the Social Security Number (SSN) you entered. If it is correct, then you must have filed a CA state income tax return already, as this SSN has already been included on a previously accepted CA tax return. If the SSN is incorrect, correct it and re-efile your CA return. Or, call 916-845-0353 if you have questions about this return or the SSN.
