Problem: The IRS—not eFile.com—rejected your Federal Tax Return because for certain reasons, it cannot be electronically filed. Do not worry; it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with your return. In some cases, the IRS requests that a return must be paper-filed instead of efiled.
Solution: Since the IRS is not allowing your return to be electronically filed, sign into your eFile.com account and click My Account on the top of your account screen, and click on your return PDF link to download and print your return. Sign your return and mail it to the IRS. See printing and mailing instructions plus addresses based on your resident state. You may need to print, sign, and mail your State Tax Return to the State Tax Agency. Contact us with questions: https://www.efile.com/tax-service/contact/efile-contact/
