Problem: The IRS—not eFile.com—rejected your tax return because your dependent's Social Security Number (SSN) and date of birth on Schedule EIC doesn't match IRS records. Please correct either the SSN or the birthdate.
Solution: Sign into your eFile.com account and click on My Return and follow the instructions on the right side to correct this.
Then re-eFile your federal and state returns at no additional charge.
